Development of EU Sport Diplomacy Strategy

Building from the conclusions drawn from the desk research on sport diplomacy, here we present sport diplomacy initiatives taken at the European Union level. More broadly, it looks at the EU as a global actor in the field of sport diplomacy in order to assess its strengths and weaknesses.

Professor Richard Parrish from Edge Hill University in the UK was in charge of coordinating the drafting of a report titled “Development of EU Sport Diplomacy” in which you can read the achievements and challenges faced by the EU in the field of sport diplomacy so far.
